ABOUT

Everything at For You Folk is designed and hand made by Hannah Lee, in her studio in Cardiff, Wales.

Hannah’s work is grounded in her upbringing on the rural borderline between England and Wales — a landscape rich with tales, traditions, and a strong sense of community. Her designs often feature motifs drawn from nature and animals; sometimes based on reality and sometimes not. Influenced by the playful worlds of artists such as: Maria Prymachenko and Nikki de Saint Phalle; she explores storytelling with a celebration of the imperfect and the imaginary.

Hannah began making jewellery because of its magical ability to connect people — in love, in family, and in friendship. Captivated by the idea that a tiny object can hold such profound meaning and preserve personal history. Each piece becoming a symbol of connection, memory, and sentiment, cherished not only for its beauty but for the emotions it represents. Jewellery is more than something to be worn — it’s something to be held, treasured, and carried with us through all moments of our lives. It serves as a constant and comforting reminder of a person, a place, or a time.

Every For You Folk piece is made by hand using recycled metals and lab grown stones to ensure full traceability. Hannahs’ process of making means no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Each one a mini sculpture, bearing individual marks of the maker and telling its own unique story.
